The Juvenile Division is responsible
for the prosecution of offenders under the age of 18, which involves delinquency
adjudicatory hearings and proceedings to transfer juveniles who commit serious felony
crimes to adult court. This division represents the Montgomery County Children Services
Board in child abuse, neglect, and dependency cases, and also prosecutes adults criminally
with charges of abuse or neglect of children.
